MENA-Water is manufacturer, designer and builder of package plants. Thanks to a central, fully automatic control system with programmable logic controller (PLC), the systems are easy to operate and monitor. Here, compact systems are an advantage, prefabricated with all components including control in one unit, which can also be designed as an ISO container. Compact systems are easy to transport and quickly to connect at site, a plug & play solution. It is possible to construct larger plants through parallel-connected container plants or to expand the decentralized sewage treatment plant in a modular manner in a timely manner, even when demand grows.
Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR)
In order to meet the small footprint with high cleaning performance in compact systems, the Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR) has proven itself. Ultrafiltration membranes separate the treated wastewater from the sludge and this can remain in the system and does not have to be deposited in a complex manner as with conventional processes. In addition, membrane technology reliably removes critical substances such as microbes and microplastics from the wastewater, which is an outstanding and convincing advantage over conventional cleaning systems. The produced clear water can be safely used in many applications or returned to the process.
A membrane bioreactor (MBR) is a wastewater treatment process combining membrane filtration with biological treatment. This innovative technology offers several advantages compared with the conventionally activated sludge process.

Fracking water generated during production of crude oil is highly contaminated with heavy metals, toxins and hydrocarbons. Therefore this water is difficult to treat and stored in big lagoons causing environmental problems.
